Medovarus was founded in 1997 in St. Petersburg.
The idea of reviving traditional honey-based beverages came from archival sources and folk recipes of the 19th and 20th centuries.
We specialize in producing light, low-alcohol drinks: classic and signature meads, fruit and berry ciders, as wellas fermented lemonades and kvass.
In our production, we use only natural ingredients and apply traditional fermentation techniques — achieving a smooth, multi-layered taste with floral and spicy notes.
Over the 28 years of our history, our beverages have become available throughout Russia and beyond.
